Gore has described the lifestyle he and his wife Tipper live as "carbon neutral," meaning he tries to offset any energy usage, including plane flights and car trips, by "purchasing verifiable reductions in CO2 elsewhere."

What exactly is "verifiable reductions in CO2" ????

Are the Windmill Farms??

A certificate ??

Or is this all just a scam like the Dot Com Companies in the 90's

Where does he buy these reductions? From dead people? People in third world countries who don't even have electricity?

And if he can buy reductions (which doesn't actually involve money), why can't we?

It's probably any number of other renewable resources, and perhaps even a "green certificate"

But I'm still thinking it is a money making scam, because he's getting an electric bill just like you and I are, which means, his house is tied into the same electric grid our houses are tied into.

Since all life on earth is organic, that would be killing
off living things. Of course that would not be carbon neutral as when
life dies the net result is carbon.

So perhaps jettisoning all living things into icy, dark outer
space could be considered a verifiable reduction in CO2.

Mo....from all I have heard...and read...this whole thing is a SCAM.

Not only is he making money and an OSCAR, fgs, over a bogus "global warming" myth...but, now he has devised a scheme to make money on "carbon offsets".

I heard someone on the radio explain this "carbon credits" thing like someone on a diet who eats a whole pizza...but, then drinks DIET coke to OFFSET the calories.

WELL...drinking a diet drink does NOT mean the calories you just ate disappear!!!

Gore is trying to make all believe that he can use as much as he wants....so long as he BUYS OFFSETS!!

I want to know what an "offset or credit" looks like...do I need a wallet or a bank vault, or a backyard, or an acre of land to put this on!!!

AND...everytime I see a PSA on TV with little kids giving us tears and puppy dog eyes....telling us to "fights global warming"...I just wanna throw up!
