No one enjoys hurting someones feelings. And most of us would quietly apologize to the person. But as has been pointed out repeatedly, this was NOT an insult to Edwards, it was his backing of policies that send folks to rehab, for uttering something deemed as hate speech!

That would have to be two typos and I don't see many typos at all in most of your posts. But let's let that go - I'll take your word at this point.

Ann Coulter was definitely trying to ridicule John Edwards and also use a derogatory term for homosexuals. She was trying to get a twofer there.

I happen to agree with you about political correctness and the harm that it does. But I do not agree with you that the way to deal with PCness in this country is by being meanspirited. Coulter crossed the line of common decency and it's not the first time she has.
