It was stupid for being as poorly timed as possible. To do this at CPAC is just about unforgiveable. If she said this on a talk show or somewhere else it wouldn't even matter to me all that much. At CPAC with all of our '08 candidates speaking from the same stage on the same day. Yes, that matters to me! And she is a flaming idiot for what she did.
The timing was bad, the venue was perfect.
If you can't make such a remark in a room full of conservatives, where can you?
Having her attack on RudyG get lost in all the hysteria, in the aftermath of that ONE moment, was unfortunate.
