Check out the World War I Document Archive. It's a wonderful primary source. There's a section on Canadian War Diaries & so forth in the "Personal Reminisces" section. Check out the pictures too.

BTW, here's the

It's interesting to note Canada suffered roughly the same total number of Military fatalities in the "Great War" as America took in Vietnam over a considerably longer time frame.
The qualitative difference being Canada's overall population in 1915 was roughly 8.5 million while America's in 1970 was around 200 million.
