Agreed, I am sure that Cuomo does not have conservative interests in mind when he says this! I think Newt has a lot going for him but the DBM and the scurrilous 'Rats will have an easier time smearing him than most other potential R. candidates, and THAT is why Cuomo wants Newt in the race. I well remember how the DBM turned his reputation and poll standing into dog meat within a very short time.......

Unfortunately, the MSM (and Newt himself to a point) has made his name radioactive to a 'general public' that is bumper sticker deep in political acumen.

Too many of those people vote and are swayed by invalid preconceptions...
