A Washington Post-ABC News survey conducted Feb. 22-25 showed 64 percent of all respondents, including Democrats and unaffiliated voters as well as Republicans, said they had a favorable impression of Giuliani, a stronger showing than any other presidential contenders mentioned in the survey.
The Pew Research Center also looked at the nominating contests from a historical perspective, and its findings may be more encouraging to Giuliani than to Clinton. Taking into account nearly 50 years of early pre-primary polls, the Pew analysts found that Republican front-runners often go on to capture their partys nomination, but not so for leading Democrats.
In seven open Republican contests those with no incumbent president on the ballot dating to 1960, the Pew Research Center reported Feb. 14 that the early front-runners held on to win the party nod six times.
By contrast, the researchers found that the early Democratic poll leaders won just four out of eight open contests between 1960 and 2004.

Some in MSM Cling to Hope GOP Won't Support Rudy

" it does seem clear that the liberal media view him (Rudy) as the most formidable candidate."
That's why the MSM is trying to split the Republicans and keep bringing up the wedge issues about Rudy.
"Don't support Rudy, he is not conservative enough for you" -- tells the MSM to the conservatives. Rudy isn't conservative enough, but Hillary will be?!
I'm glad I watched the CSPAN reply. Rudy is a very positive individual, and a charismatic leader.
A long way to go, thus it's wrong to annoint Rudy as the nominee.
We are the "Marxists" who try to STOP Hillary and the Dems and those who HELP Hillary and the Dems are running around telling us what fine conservatives they are.
Black is white and white is black.
