In the late 70s, Chile's Augusto Pinochet blew up a Chilean dissident (Orlando Letellier) with a car bomb on Sheridan Circle, no more than a mile from the White House. Bush league stuff.
Re Orlando Letelier. He was a KGB/DGI (Cuban secret police) paid agent. The contents of his briefcase detailed his connections on the Hill and with communist groups in the U.S., including the red-funded Institute for Policy Studies. (See Steven Powell's "Cover Cadre" masterpiece on IPS and its staff/operations, including working with KGB agents and fronts).
I would not have wanted him killed, only exposed but the Washington Post covered up his real identity and has refused to investigate what was found in his briefcase.
Iranian American Black Muslim agents killed Iranian dissident Ali Tabatabai in Silver Spring (the killer is a major movie star in Iran). An Israeli military attache' named Allon was assassinated in or near Silver Spring.
The KGB killed Soviet defector Walter Krivitsky right here in DC in the 1940's, and a number of other people have been assassinated in the US by various leftist/Arab groups over the years. You just don't see their stories in the papers.
Several law enforcement officers and volunteer informants have been stabbed, shot at, or firebombed by American communists since the 1960's, not to mention the assassinations carried out by the Black Panthers and their successors, the Black Liberation Army, etc.
Welcome to the real world!
True, but that wasn't a KGB/SVD thing, i notice that the Brit reporter got dead, and the American "expert" was merely "sent a message".
"Street Crime"? So that is why they will not release his condition or give any details about what may have been taken from him during the Street Crime in quite suburban Maryland?
And the cow ran away with the spoon, I gave up on fairy tales along time ago....
