One point I seem to see missing in your arguments for ORV access is "The Handicapped"

While I doubt I would want to ride a 250cc dirt bike, a 250cc quad would allow me access. I have a service connected injury (not to mention some stuff from being really stupid) that limits my ability to hike.

A quad allows me to get out and camp in areas I *cannot* walk to.

Perhaps a GWII vet or three could be found to ask:
Why are you writing a law that blatantly discriminates against injured vets and the disabled?

ASOC, you have an excellent point. Please forward it to your senator and all the sponsors of SB 5544 and it's House version.

The Senator and his wife are Personal Injury and Civil Rights attorneys btw.

They personally stand to reap a fortune in frivilous lawsuits by the passage of this bill, as it provides for attorney fees by the moving party, and NOT for the defendant...
