I wasn't aware of this, but it certainly fits his overall persona. This morning Kirby Wilbur was boosting this impeachment bill, his justification being that it would mortally wound the Dems. I'm not so sure how many rational Dems are left in that 'party' who would be offended by such a measure and leave or create discord. Their media allies will gloss it over as 'a principled gesture by passionate lawmakers' and it will most likely be forgotten by the collective public consciousness by 2008.
