The Philadelphia Bulletin's Tremoglie factfinding of Compean/Ramos (Border Patrol) trial transcripts reveals US Attorneys more interested in prosecuting Border Patrol than illegal aliens.

Good article Mike
I never read those quotes from the two US Attorneys' closing arguments anywhere else.
I never even heard of the Sipe case either.
This is due to El President Bush's eagerness to kiss up to the Mexicans in order to push thru his North American Union.
This is due to El Presidente Bush's eagerness to kiss up to the Mexicans in order to push thru his North American Union.
Tomorrow's headline? "U.S. DOJ looks for 'dirt' on Tremoglie, offers SSNs, stipends to all undocumented Mexican citizens in Philadelphia for their testimony. Tremoglie expected to be charged next week."
This is the problem isn't it. The US Attorney for that part of Texas is a Bush appointee who got in trouble for screwing up a drug case where they gave immunity to some Mexican who started killing other Mexicans.
Now he is trying to redeem himself.
This article points out how the prosecuting attorney Gonzalez, during his closing argument in court, said Jesus Christ We know these Mexicans smuggle drugs into the US because they are poor and trying to feed their families.
Sounds like he is sympathetic to me.
Tremoglie correctly points out what if he had been smuggling girls in for prostitution.
ping
This whole case is such politically correct bs
Ping!
Thanks for the ping. This is really getting traction now. The fedgov has become completely detached from reality from what I can see.
Yes they do.
When you look at the assault counts, they are guilty of all three of them. Intent to kill. He (Aldrete) doesn't have a gun."
Too bad Compean and Ramos are not better shots.
I firmly believe a dead Aldrete that day would have had his gun.
I heard that there would be problems from the Mexican Govt if these guys were found not guilty.
"Border Agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean.... I have read the transcripts...
... I have never seen a Marine or soldier treated in such an unjust way.
As President of the United States, I will pardon Ramos and Compean"--Duncan Hunter, CPAC 2007, March 2
