I want to make up my own mind about which candidate I'll support...not have some vein-popping Rudy hater or an overly exclamatory GOP/Rudy cheerleader decide for me.
Just keep in mind the Giuliani is going to say precisely what he thinks you want to hear and it doesn't matter if it has any basis in reality or not. He wants your vote and honesty about his views and past statements will be in short supply when he speaks to conservatives. His entire political career is an exercise in liberalism.
LaPierre is on right now bashing Bloomberg for going after gun manufacturers and guns stores - the very same thing that Giuliani did when he was mayor. A minute ago he was on beating on someone who wants more gun control and gun confiscation - the same thing the Giuliani wanted. It is unlikely that any speaker at CPAC is going to come out and expose Giuliani's liberalism. But they may hit him in less obvious ways by bringing up the very same kinds of things that he did and condemning it.
It's not in your best interest to think for yourself! :)
