When I first came here, I mentioned that my sister, who had ovarian cancer, had had stem cell replacement.
It took about two minutes from some morally smug type to come along and tell me that my sister had lived long enough and she didn't need those embyonic stem cells.
She didn't bother waiting for me to clarify that they were HER stem cells, but she was FINE with my sister dying.
Pretty telling, IMO.
