All day today we are covering speakers and panels at the 34th Annual Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington, DC. This morning, we'll hear from Republican presidential hopeful former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani. He will be followed by Reps. Scott Garrett (NJ), Tom Tancredo (CO), and others.

I can completely understand where you are coming from; I encourage you not to leave for good, just do as many have done and take a break from this place. We need sane voices.
Conservatives are NOT all cut from the same fabric; that's what makes us different from liberals.
I wish I could say "don't leave, they will win," but I honestly believe they have already run, just from the fact of how many have left.
This has turned into an anti-GOP site, which is insane because they NEED to GOP to further their goals.
We have to fight for this site as long as we can stand it. Or until we're all deemed unworthy and banned.
Just don't go too far.
With the power the unions have in that city, what is amazing is he accomplished as much as he did in that environment.
Yeah Madison should never have "compromised" over that little issue called the Bill of Rights.
Yeah, maybe it does but I just marvel at the posters who ping Jim to "tattle" and actually to more than tattle. It's butt kissing.
It's like "oh yeah, liberal liar? I bet Jim Rob won't agree with you" PING!
No, HE did not; he said that was posted on the Malkin site.
At least TRY to give the appearance of being truthful; all the rest of us reading this thread SAW what Psycho posted; you look like an idiot when you purposefully misconstrue printed words.
Thanks. Hunter just isn't my bag. Of course, if lightening strikes, and he gets nominated, I will vote for him. That vote will alas be insufficient to elect him. :)
TX Conservative please stick around, your post wasn't out of line at all (IMHO).
You think Rudy increased the size of goverment? I guess that's why Newt called what Rudy did for NYC one of the greatest achievements of successful governance in the 20th century. Since he's such a big goverment kind of guy and all.
I would consider that a major improvement over Rudy's blatant disregard for much of the Bill of Rights.
There's no inconsistency there. It doesn't bother me personally, but I find it to be in poor form.
And where is she showing "a regular basis" of noting other posters' genders??
I've seen it on a number of threads now.
What a great post. Welcome aboard!
Slightly OT: Anyone have YouTube (or similar sites) links for the various candidates' speeches? Not just Rudy but also Hunter, Romney. (I gather McCain chose not to make a formal speech but came anyway?)
Thanks for posting that Peach of course we know it will have zero impact on the liars.
Yeah, that was a really wily way to introduce it, wasn't it?
Aren't you the other one who was calling conservatives mentally ill yesterday?
You're making some really good posts.
I'm not thrilled with him either; that's why I said I have serious issues with him. You're right about if he wins the nomination but I don't think there's any chance of that.
Since the week before he announced but there was speculation, I've been saying he was running for either a VP slot or a cabinet position.
I haven't seen it, and I was inviting you to substantiate it (the comment about a pattern of making gender-prismed comments). Maybe it's not worth the effort, probably isn't actually, but your saying you've "seen it on a number of threads now" doesn't really help me there. *shrug*
Coulter is on now.
You're welcome. I'd better scoot and get some things done around here. I haven't freeped all day in a long time.
Yes, I was lucky. Lucky I got a lot of good advice that I used on my trip; I did, however, bring TOO many clothes, although I was warned well in advance; I'll know better next time.
