All day today we are covering speakers and panels at the 34th Annual Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington, DC. This morning, we'll hear from Republican presidential hopeful former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani. He will be followed by Reps. Scott Garrett (NJ), Tom Tancredo (CO), and others.

I don't know how many I prevented either, but I counseled too many to count, one as recent as two days ago.
Some folks on FR didn't want that mirror held up. And they tend to be the ones who want to take the party even further leftward with Rudy.
Torie,
You misunderstand EV's purpose. His intent is not to influence people. If more than 5% of the electorate suddently "discovered" Duncan Hunter, people like EV would probably consider him a sellout and decamp even further to the right.
They get their jollies by lobbing insults from the margins. It's their nature.
Busy body.
More stinking lying. You can't defend your support for a pro-abort, gun-grabbing liberal, so you have to resort to idiocy.
Why do you think it's your business to answer for Jim?
Are you in charge now, or do you not think he's capable of answering for himself?
FR is and will continue to be a place for traditional American conservatives. If that leaves you out, so be it.
Wow --- you're not only the number one butt kisser and tattle tale here, you've arrogantly taken to answering for Jim.
Those were your words, Howlin. Moderate conservatism? What kind of nonsense is that?
It should be pointed out that there were many Senators, including many Republican Senators, who support abortion on demand but nevertheless voted for Roberts and Alito. In fact, I believe only Chafee (a true RINO IMHO who almost never voted with us) did not support both of them. Without the support of Senators like the Maine Gals, Specter, etc. the 'rats could have blocked those two candidates like they did Judge Bork.
This is why I do not like to see the campaigns to defeat so-called "RINOs" like DeWine who generally get replaced with disasters like Sherrod Brown. Losing the Senate in 1986 cost us Bork -- who would have been the fifth vote.
Roe v. Wade has been the Law of the Land for over thirty years. The vote now is probably 5-4 to keep it. If the 'rats win in 2008 then they will cement their hold on the Court. Am I convinced Rudy will keep his promise? Not completely. But I AM convinced the 'rat nominee -- whoever he or she is -- will give us another Ginsberg or Breyer.
You most certainly did resign the GOP; want me to post your resignation again?
That was not necessary.
But you support NARAL candidates who think Margaret Sanger was the cat's pajamas.
You can't see the disconnect between those two things?
Those were Howlin's words from a few weeks ago. JimRob gave his answer about FR's direction. I applied that to her past statement about abortion and guns being a foot on her neck.
A huge issue that prevents me from contemplating "sitting it out" or a protest vote is judges.
Hillary, Obama, Edwards? They promise to nominate Ginsburgs, Tribes, Brennans.
The Republicans uniformly promise to pick Scalia types.
And federal judges can sit for 30, 40 or even more years. That's a hangover that doesn't go away in 4 or 8 years!
Was that an answer to whether or not you're going to be an anti-GOP site now?
I'd like a yes or no answer on that one.
It's an open forum, Howlin. I guess you don't like your own words being used against you. Maybe you think that's a foot on your neck also.
Who the hell are you to answer for Jim?
He is perfectly capable of answering for himself.
I must say, you are quite the nanny along with being the number one butt kisser and tattle tale.
When are you planning to grow up?
I never said I didn't. I've simply challenged you and your friend's attempts to lie about the circumstances and the reasons.
One person said it was a bunny, another said a sheep. I don't really care what it is, it is funny!
