So.....Hillary's Thesis at Wellesly is in the news again: You can find a link about this controversy at Drudge or go here to read the story....: Reading Hillary Rodham's hidden thesis Clinton White House asked Wellesley College to close off access .... but this has been an ongoing issue at FreeRepublic for years now. I dug up an old thread from FR pleading to Limbaugh to release the manuscript.......These old threads are "read only" so I post it again for others to re-read..........,

Last week Rush said he was being sent a copy of Hillary's Thesis via FED-EX, sent to him by Barbara Olsen. WELL, RUSH ANYTIME!

Perhaps he's making sure he's not being set-up with a phoney manuscript.
But on a more important topic...how was his golf game this past weekend?

Be patient, my friend. I'm sure he'll cover it at the appropriate time. Plus, there could be some legal humps to hurdle.
One would think that Hillary would be proud of her diligent, leftist thesis. Her speech stunk, I'm sure her thesis does too!

I would think more of a timing thing than a legal one. It is a wise person that knows when to use what they have to destroy their enemy......
Use it like a surgeon Rush, cut deep and make her pay.......

I haven't looked at all the articles here right now but Rush (I heard part today) directly challenged freepers twice. The second time it was as he laughed, to mention the potential for martial law in the AP story about the debates and Clinton wherein it was said "Clinton is expected to leave office ..." at the end of his term - as if to leave doubt intentionally. Rush asked that someone ought to put that up on freerepublic and see what people think. Any bites to this goading when he overlooks the obvious?
(One thing he does get is some kind of report from someone lurking here that feeds him summaries, although at one time Russ presumably logged in here as "Russ")

In this case,I would have to agree. Excise the Clintonian Cancer on the body politic of our nation!!

Rush said, " clinton will not leave office on his own, the voters will remove him"
He then baits Freepers to comment. I honestly think it's Rush covering his exposed hind end!!!!!! If nothing happens he's painted us as nuts , if clinton does make a move he can say( "I asked the freepers for help and they let us down"....not a quote a predicted quote) This would be a great sound bite for the great one to expound upon, and it's a perfect time for the prediction since most listners are involved in the holidays and not focused on the politics of the day: a phrase rush uses every year to explain his holliday vacations!

I am going to speculate here and give a possible title for what may be her thesis: "Overcoming American Nationalism in the New Age of Globalism" While certainly the wording won't be right, it is probably something along that line.

Very circumspect and calculating credit to Rush. But he did promise on Wednesday to read it last Friday. Well, he has got a monoploy on that thesis unless someone can get through to Barbara Olson.
About being lost to the holidays, the terrorist news was covered worldwide. This is an unusual holiday.

Dear Rush, Go Here. We already speculate and conjecture if the First Felonious Couple will or will not leave. Why did you ask us to do what we already are doing?
Unless, of course, you are just giving us publicity. In whcih case, THANKS!!!

The unreasonable screcy about Hillie's thesis permits speculation. Sure, the content may have been so outrageous that, today, she would prefer to dosavow it. If so, she would have done it years ago when it would have been embarassing but not any worse than a bunch of other things she has lied about. No, the likely reason Hillie has kept her thesis secret is that she plagerized ("bidened") it. A public review would quickly identify the real author. If Rush has a true copy, there will be a full court legal press to ensure it never sees the ú·pêpu can publisáe Pentagon Papers, but not Hillie's thesis.

Some point out apologeltically for Rush, that there might be a legal hang-up regarding the reading of Hillary's thesis. While I seriously doubt there could be such a problem (after all scholarship, by definition, is not a secretive enterprise), Rush certainly has the intelligence, even with his bwain tied behind his back, to inform the public of such a development. BTW, since Hillary's thesis was done at an instituion that receives federal funding (all colleges do except Hillsdale) the thing might be forced to the surface by filing through the Freedom of Information Act.
At any rate, Rush has told us he would have it last Friday and, as far as I know from listening today, the issue has not been raised today by Rush. This means that Rush is playing the old "bait and switch" game to drive up his numbers. If he doesn't have it, or is prevented from reading it, he should have said so (and he knows that). Why don't we all e-mail Rush and ask?

I think the thesis had to do with poverty programs not working...it's been on the radio in the past. Rush may have concluded its been done already.

Perhaps you're right. At any rate, Rush made the promise and has said nothing since. At the very least he should inform his audience. I mean, it would be easy for him to say what you just reported, and that would be acceptable, wouldn't it?

there might be a legal hang-up regarding the reading of Hillary's thesis
If GWBush's SAT scores and college grades can be sneaked out and published, why not Hillary's thesis?
I doubt the FOIA can be used, though. Just because an institution receives federal money doesn't make it subject to FOIA (I don't think).
Btw, there is one other school besides Hillsdale that takes NO federal funds: Grove City College.

If GWBush's SAT scores and college grades can be sneaked out and published, why not Hillary's thesis?
..and if a cell phone conversation of Newt Gingrich can be taped and passed to the media with little uproar by a Congressman, what's the matter with Tripp taping her conversations with Lewinsky?
Remember, there are different standards for the right and the left. One extremely high, the other sheer nonsense.

Nice Catch ! Perhaps Rush is trying to get the true author as a guest on his show. Obviously Hillery will deny that it is hers, and if the college won't release it, who can prove it ? With a degree won by cheating, perhaps Bill & Hill can lose their license at a joint ceremony ?

Grove City, Pa., Rudder. GCC is a good school with a firm Christian foundation that does not take govt. $$. Not surprisingly, they always have plenty of hopeful applicants.

No, sorry, that's Grove City, Pennsylvania. It's about 60 miles north of Pittsburgh.
My daughter was just accepted for admission there for the class of 2004. It looks like a great school, with a strong core curriculum in the traditional humanities. And no P.C. garbage.

Rush ows his audience an explanation. Reasonable reasons might include fact checking (I have heard two incompatable descriptions of the contents) and legal concerns over disclosing the contents of a "stolen" document. But we deserve to be told the reason.

Could be. So? Maybe the thesis turned out to be a bust. Nothing in it but a liberal student's nutty ideas of the future. Maybe it was a good paper on something that wouldn't hurt to tell anyone so it's no big deal. Then maybe, just maybe, it has something very damaging and Rush is waiting to use it AFTER she officially announces as a candidate. It would have more impact that way. Who knows?
Personally, I think it's a wash in any case. She can run, but she can no longer hide.

Sounds like there's nothing really interesting in it.
BTTT - MSNBC's long article has many interesting details about the thesis. It also mentions Free Republic.
I put money on it that she advocates violent revolution and socialism as a means to redress racial and economic inequality.
Did anyone ever hear Barbara Olsen (BKO) comment on what was in the beast's thesis?
Yeah right, just like there's nothing really interesting in Bill's medical records.
How is this going to get the thesis released and available?
Why rehash it if that isn't going to happen?
Just wondering. No offense intended.
Man, that's a serious blast from the past. I was still lurking then.

I miss the words of wisdom (?) from A+Bert. This on was more coherent than most, must have been before he found the sauce that day.
I wonder how MSNBC's story is going to get Hillary's thesis released and available. Why write a story if it ain't gonna happen? Just wondering......
