My husband died suddenly when he was seemingly healthy and not yet 50 .. I really know what a shock it is. Just give her a lot of patience and understanding..It isn't easy...A move might be too stressful at this time...

I am sure it depends on the person and their needs. Major decisions are not usually good to make for awhile unless absolutely necessary..

One day is dreadful and the next one.. one may function well..A rollercoaster.

I understand, she will have help from my sister in law that lost her husband in his late 30's. Juls brother died of cancer leaving Marcie and a young son Joe. She has since remarried and still attends most family events keeping her son around the family.

Marcia has been spending alot of time with Jackie.
I watched a friend die of cancer and helped his wife after.
I know it is not easy, I am sorry Meg, I never knew.
God Bless you my FRiend.
