I had never seen a fox until I moved into this house..They come by at hours when normal people are sleeping..and my backyard is unfenced. It backs up to wooded ravine where they can live..right in a populated area. I love it because I love nature watching..

Birds and squirrels entertain me and my cat. She sometimes "barks" at them..LOL

I have sliding glass doors in both bedrooms and a larger one in the dining room/living room that overlook the woods and patio. She races through the house from door to door when something exciting happens..like 30 or more waxwings landing on the patio to drink. The robins excited her when they first came but now she is content to sit and watch them.

I could nature watch all day and all night. I do what I can in the urban setting; probably notice more than most do. I watch the sky a lot, phases of the moon and so forth.

City is really dreadful for its lack of nature though. I'm not as keen on people as I am on plants and animals...

Except when it comes to FReepers, of course...:)
