Cobb police announced on Thursday night the arrest of two young women in a Tuesday bank holdup, and revealed a twist in their investigation: The alleged robbers are 19 and were working in cahoots with the bank teller.
The teller has also been arrested, along with a fourth person. Police did not immediately say how the fourth person was connected.
The arrest caps two days of intense media scrutiny into the robbery at a Bank of America branch inside a Kroger store in Acworth. Police credited publicity that led to a solid tip and the arrest.
The brunette obviously put the blond up to it. Probably threatened to kill her dear granny is she didn't help with the robberies.
Their parents never should have named them Ashley and Heather.
The poor girl will probably need extensive counseling and other types of deep therapy to help her get over this.
They'll be okay, I think ... book deal, go on Oafrah, Leno, yada yada yada...
Brunette is looking a little less guilty in that bottom picture.
I refuse to take any news story that uses the word "cahoots" seriously!
Alias Brittney & Caitlin
Yeah, I agree. I say "not guilty" for both.
But you know that some beefy woman who goes by the name "Butch" is going to enjoy having these two as cell mates.
Accuse them of bank robbery if you will, but assigning Streisands first name is way over the line.
;-)
"OMG. That it SO TOTALLY Ashley and Heather robbing that bank! They're all like, 'Yah, hand it over' and stuff... it's totally them."
In addition how many cute girls that age hang out with other girls who aren't at least equally cute? This would help to bolster the brunette's case.
Looks like I read the quote out of context:)
Will they do time for sure, even if it's just the first offense?
I'm guessing they got away with at least $50,000 since the report said it was "considerable."
Maybe more than $50K, but probably somewhere in that range. Who knows if the true amount will ever be published.
They won't totally ruin their lives. They just won't be the Heather and Ashley they could have been. They will have family and friends, but they won't be allowed close to purses or wallets while visiting.
LOL!
LMAO!!
That was brilliant and probably not far from what was actually said. LOL.
;-)
Their best hope is for a well-hung jury.
