How about we put a computer in everybody's home. Every Tuesday, people should sit down and read one law only (written simply) and then vote on it. Maybe we have some extra data that gives the pro and con of the law.

Anyway, we get rid of the need of a representative.

And the great expense of keeping them.

Their salaries are a pittance compared to the upkeep.

Secretary's, staff , offices, trips around the world,their Capitol Hill Restaurant, their Barber shop. Their Library of Congress free pass to tie up researchers. It goes on and on. These people cost a lot of money to keep in the way they have grown acustomed to being kept.
