The Rudy supporters are conspicuously absent.

Just now checking in to this thread, Amigo....if it comes down to Rudy or McCain (which it will), who the hell will you support? Put me in the Giuliani spot.....Rudy's at least lucid. McCain is far removed from sanity.

We've got a $hitty pot to pull from for this cycle, I'm afraid - but I'll always opt away from instability.

Rudy and McClain are both vain egomaniacs...this really sucks. Newt is, of course, unelectable, and the other names in the mix are just thin clouds on the horizon.

Check out the South Carolina straw poll. Hunter was 2nd behind Rudy...and only by 18 votes.

Don't be pessimistic yet. We've still got a ways to go.

Ditto that. It's too early to put support behind anyone yet--if Rudy is the front runner, he will get beat up pretty bad in the process. Let's see how he handles it. The bad thing about the new schedule is it is more prone to putting someone on the ticket who hasn't earned it.

The good thing about the candidates starting now is that they will go after each other and we will see.
