I think conservatives are acquiescing to Rudy's candidacy because they think he is the only one who can beat that woman or that muslim. We Republicans need to remember that, if we lie down with dogs, we get up with fleas. We need to nominate Newt or Hunter. I am even beginning to reluctantly believe that Rudy may be the candidate. If that is the case, I have no meaningful political choice but to vote for him. A third party vote is like giving a vote to the Dems, and staying home is unconscionable.

And, that is the dumbest thing you could possibly as it would guarantee a liberal in the White House for EIGHT years rather than merely for four years. Further, any liberal agenda Ghouliani would push through would go virtually unopposed by Republicans in Congress. Worse, the party in the White House generally loses seats in Congress and that would be even more the case with Ghouliani in the White House as conservatives in the South would return to voting for blue-dog/conservative Democrats.
