Baztab recently reported that Asghari's name was one of 20 belonging to Pasdaran officers which appeared on what the site said was a CIA hit-list. Maybe he was just a CIA "person of interest".

No wonder the Bush admin. seems "happy" to have Iran come to the Iraqi security conference...they've "got" an Iranian general.?.?.?
To: Dog
Could be a CIA plot or, better yet, a CIA coup. The general has credentials suitable for leadership in Islamic Iran.
To: Dog
I hope he's not being tortured!

Nancy and Harry will probably contact President Bush tomorrow and demand to know his whereabouts, vis press conference.

The CIA doesn't have hit lists. There are probably quite a few people who have a reason not to like this guy.

Re #4
Hmm... An Iraqi general in exile disappeared while in house arrest in Denmark just before Gulf War II.
Do we have a similar scenario playing out for Iran?

Now if we could only figure out a way to put the "tied up" Iranian general in Nancy's apartment or basement and blame her for promoting illegal immigration.
To: Dog
Hopefully, we had a hand is his walkabout.
