And I didn't realize the Aztecs were that modern. If you take their name seriously, modern (?) mexico isn't the basis of their claims, their mythology places the original home of the Aztec in 'Azitlan' far north of today's mexico.
(If they were angry about losing the land that Spain GAVE to mexico they should be throwing rocks at the graves of their own leaders who turned around and sold part of it off.)
