I do wonder whether there were females available to these rams during the study. Didn't see that mentioned in the article.
I've seen lots of claims of 'homosexuality' among animals, but the reality is, animals are instinct driven. Once those hormones kick in, the males will mount anything that doesn't mount them first. I wouldn't call that 'homosexuality'.
THANK you! As I've heard it stated, the sexual urge doesn't care where it's satisfied, it just wants to be satisfied! That's why any sexual conduct is a choice: we CHOOSE where to satisfy that sexual urge.
But I guess we should keep it to sex, so...what about male animals with multiple mates? Libs will tell you all day long that gay marriage will never lead to legalized polygamy and that they would oppose such a thing, but if we're going to accept the bahavior we see in the animal world we not only have to back polygamy, we have to allow men to have harems. In fact, we have to allow men to decide if they want a harem or if they (like tigers) want to hump a series of different females and contribute absolutely nothing--not one cent of child support, not one attendance at a school play, no need to even be around after you get her pregnant--to the upbringing of their offspring.
Hmmm...sounds like that just doesn't work all that well...
