Bump for a true hero!

Lt. Col. Crandall's Medal of Honor was LONG overdue.

Men like him put Batman and Superman to shame!I have always held helicopter pilots in the highest regards. Many of my men hated helicopters, but I loved them.I knew that in quick time I would be home and safe.F the Chinooks.I hated them.I think that the men who piloted them were nuts or were being punished for something!I am very glad his heroism has finally been recognized.A true hero along with his co-pilot.

That would be incredible to me, too. To meet a guy who would voluntarily and selflessly stare death in the face time, after time, after time to save his buddies.

What a fantastic photo of a couple of very special men!

If that's not a cherished keepsake I don't know what is.

You did a great job today Tx. It was a most reverent, concise, respectful & honorable ceremony.
