BAGHDAD, Iraq - Iraqi police said a car bomb killed up to 18 boys on a soccer field Tuesday, but a spokesman for the U.S. military later said the explosion was a controlled blast by American soldiers and that 30 people, including nine children, were slightly wounded.
The blast occurred in Ramadi, a hotbed of the Sunni insurgency.
Maj. Jeff Pool, a Marine spokesman in Iraq, said the U.S. military was unaware of the attack described by Iraqi officials. "I can't imagine there would be another attack involving children without our people knowing," he said.

I trust the US military indefinately more than any anonymous Iraqi, Arab or media source. The truth eventually will get out.
The monstrous and goulish media and their terrorist allies can't have enough dead children. If there are not enough, they will simply invent them.
I am glad that the military is showing the lies of the treasonous media.
The military played it smart on this one because they waited till all the MSM "confirmed" the incident then debunked it making the MSM out the liars they are.

The AP shows picture of a bomb blast in Baghdad and wants the reader to believe Ramadi is part of Baghdad.
We need a nice little keyword for this media plot....

This will be another one of those where the "Police Official" maintains it happened and the military says it didn't but we'll never see the car, bodies or even the funerals and the media will be able to continue with the stories.
Probably. Or, the media will show us the car, bodies and even funerals taken from past events and imply they are from this event....or non-event.
