Dear Torie,
It was discussed at length on a couple of threads around here.
I don't really have the time or energy right now to try to go find links. Happily, February was a very good month business-wise, which makes the first few days of March even busier than usual.

Dear Torie,
As a side note, I saw a poll yesterday that indicated that about half of Republicans, upon learning about Mr. Giuliani's stance on certain issues, won't vote for him in the primary elections.
That doesn't seem inconsistent with the concept that perhaps 20% - 25% wouldn't vote for him in the general election.

F McCain, he's a backstabber. Saboteur of George Bush. Rudy is too socially liberal but he's loyal. I can vote for him since he's tough on national security
Rudy is no conservative. He is weak on national defense, actually supporting illegal aliens and more gun control. He has been spinning his views on marriage. His personal life is full of scandals that Hillary can use against him.
Aside from being the "world's mayor" post-911, he's the modern annoy the media candidate, that alone is worth 50 brownie points for me to want to support him... McCain,OTOH, his nickname is President McCain of the media, that alone is worth a bozo button from me...
Dear Schwaeky,
"He believes in strict constructionists for judges, that's all that conservatives need to know...."
I guess it matters what a "strict constructionist" is.
For someone who thinks that Roe was rightly decided, that abortion is a constitutional right, that slicing and dicing the Second Amendment is perfectly acceptable, thinks campaign finance reform - and specifically McCain-Fiengold - is a great idea, that courts and legislatures have a right to alter a fundamental institution of society - marriage - a "strict constructionist" might be someone who upholds Roe, accepts any old gun control law that gets passed, who upholds the most anti-First Amendment campaign finance law, and accepts screwing with marriage.
"Irrespective of his own personal views on abortion and gay rights, while he is on the wrong side of the issue with us, it is because he has the classical republican view of the role of government and because of the role of government, he believes it should be out of the wombs and out of the bedrooms and more importantly, leaving such issues to the states..."
Sorry, but the Republican view on abortion for the last few decades has been that the government has a role to play - protecting the lives of unborn children.
"Whats wrong with getting the federal government out of our lives???"
When the government no longer protects fundamental human rights, that's not a good thing.

Keeping him out of the White House is pretty importat. But, when is this guy up for re-election, Can Arizona send up a real Republican in the Primary and retre this clown for good? That in my opinion is far more important.

Blah blah blah, more agitpropaganda.
I certainly will not carry your water. It has the distinct smell of catpish.
Rudy Rotorooters Unite! Get assurances from the conservbative Republicans that they will vote for Roooty Toodles instead of organizing a nomination win for a more conservative candidate? May the best man or woman win the nominaytion, and if you can't take the heat inherent in the contest, jump out into the fire.
Ya'll are just like your liberal week kneed candidate.
BUahahahahahahahah!
Let the gamnes begin and may the best man or woman win.
You want pre contest assurances that conservative republicans won't do their best to make sure a conservative Republican wins the nomination. WTF?
Get your sick a$$ out-a here!
If you'd like, I can do a side by side comparison with your posts and the DNC press release.
Apparently you are responding to some other post since it has nothing to do with anything I said. Either that or the Voices in your Head are getting loud again.
Particularly since I desperately HOPE the Right can put on a better showing than what I am seeing. Such weakness indicates it can be ignored which would be VERY bad.
