Go with the Mossberg 500 Mariner shotgun for your locale and situation. Not bad to have with you if you are out in a boat in those waters. Back it up with a .357 magnum revolver. Also, has anyone mentioned tactical lights? Helps to see what you are shooting in the dark. You have to live with the consequences after the shoot.
