Well when they run it as lean as he wants to, that is what you will see. As much as J Blue refers to the positioning of flight crews, points to one area of weakness (not enough flight crews)

On another note I expect more industry wide blowback against the the whole lean-outsource methodology. It is no secret that one major airline is under the FAA microscope ref: emergency evac systems/evac slides) and that is just the tip of the iceberg IMO.

Also, the UAL VP of Line Maint. (who made lean-outsource his rise to power) has left UAL abruptly, and without official notice or send-off etc a few weeks ago. That happened after UAL lost many ORD flights because the out-sourced fuelers did not show up for work in 5 degree weather for $8 an hour. It made the papers in ChiTown.
