LOL. My interpretation of the writer's comments are certainly different than yours, imho, I think the author is trying to say that our "leaders" have been preoccupied with a war and; therefore, have not been able to give their full attention to other pressing matters.

Also, one shouldn't throw the baby out with the bath water. Perhaps the forum would have been better served if you could comment on the ideas actually outlined in the article instead of making snide comments that have no bearing on the discussion.

There is NO doubt that China is our NUMBER ONE BAD and anyone who doesn't know that is really out of it.

Not only that, Chinese "observers" are all over Iraq. Their little fingers are frazzled from the number of notes that they have been taking.
