Indeed. Also what happened at Ruby Ridge was very disturbing. I do not in anyway support what happened at WACO. But I also think that memories of Jim Jones and The People's Temple mass murder in Guyana spurred the Government's responses and fears.
But no matter the whys, the hows of the end of the seige at WACO is inexcusable. From what I have read Koresh was preparing to come out. It was the government acting in bad faith that created the stalemate.
All those lives lost how useless and sad.
So the government decided that the government must shoot and incinerate them to keep them from being poisoned by their leaders???
