"Don't like that one then check out this one by conservative FrontPage magazine, which says the same thing."
It's also interesting that the author of the FrontPage article also authored a recent article on illegal immigration that is 180 degrees from Rudy's position.
http://frontpagemag.com/Articles/ReadArticle.asp?ID=23398 The one hallmark of all Rudy supporters that claim they are "conservative" is that they say they don't agree with Rudy on the issues; abortion, illegal aliens, second amendment, gay rights, etc., but that they support him anyway. This is very strange and can only be explained by the, sometimes expressed, position that ideology and principle are not important, not if we can get "our guy" (read Republican) in office regardless of whether "our guy" is against virtually every position we hold, including those expressed in the Republican platform.
Like I said, strange.

I'm really enjoying watching everyone pretend they don't know the difference between fiscal conservatives and law and order conservatives like Rudy, who has had his accomplishments in NYC with regard to taxes and urban/government policies called the greatest achievements of the 20th century, and social conservatives.
