Not sure what this means but we've just gotten an announcement that the parties in the Libby trial have been asked to come to the courtroom at 9:45 this morning. Could be some sort of inquiry, or it could be bigger.
LOL Wouldn't we all!!
Very Plausible.
Hmmmm. Libby has history with Fitz in the Marc Rich pardon. Also the only person who has spent time in jail in this case is Judith Miller, who also had history with Fitz in another case. Scary.
I thought the "t-shirt" stunt indicated the jury didn't take the case that seriously, and the woman who refused might well have done so because she thought this was deadly serious and shouldn't be trifled with.
The juror who was dismissed was the art curator who wouldn't wear red on Valentine's day. Wells is reportedly quite happy with the results, and we hear Mr. Fitzgerald came as close to losing that poker face as he has he was evidently quite pissed.
CW has it that things are going to be a bit nutty from hereon in.

Interesting theory. Most people would just vote with the others and have it be over with, but if she felt that she couldn't talk to her friends if she voted to acquit, then maybe she did this.
I am very very suspicious about the fact that this was found out. Who would have known? I like your theory.
"He wants a plum position in the (H.) Clinton Justice Department."
He's certainly demonstrated he has what it takes to get one. Ruthless use of an institution to get at political enemies.
She's the one kicked off the jury isn't she?!
Just about all the New York "artsy f*rtsy" crowd are extreme leftists ~ my guess is she got her information from Smirkingchimp.com or that Huffington thing ~ on the advice of "some old friends".
post to follow for later updates
Re: Libby Update 5 [Andy McCarthy]
I'm still fascinated by the fact that the prosecutor and defense counsel have taken positions which run directly counter to the usual playbook. One other possibility to consider: they could be convinced that deliberations will go on for a while longer, perhaps even a few more days, in which case you would be running the risk of losing another juror. If it gets down to 10, the chances of the judge ordering a mistrial are much higher. It may be that Pat and Ted are factoring in that possibility the defense would like to get to 10 since a mistrial would be a huge win for Scooter; the government would like to avoid that, for the same reason.

Ryan doesn't count as an "R" in my book unless it stands for "Retrobate Rino."
I worked for a large transportation company in Chicago. We used to send our new drivers 100 miles away to get their CDLs so they wouldn't have to pay "facilitation" money to Ryan's Robbers at the DMV.
But then I've never been called for jury duty and most likely never will so what do I know.
I don't think you should assume that. Getting to be a director of MOMA, particularly 20 years ago was reaching the very pinacle of the art world. It speaks of a huge amount of personal accomplishment, which often leads one to be thoughful and conservative. I'd be a lot more likey to think that retired Federal employees are moonbats than a lady who reached the top of her profession.
But that isn't corruption, that's high taxes.
>>The law she helped write involved releasing the identity of a CIA person who is undercover<<
Aha. Thank you.
He still has a lovely fat target in the Governor of Illinois. And lots of lesser Democrats. He has been all over the Mayor's corrupt base and lots of them have been singing.
From hereon in?????
Suggesting everything has been just ducky up to now. LOL
These two might have thought there were two women involved ~ namely Mrs. Wilson, somewhere in the bowels of the CIA, and a Valerie Plame, somewhere else in the bowels, or maybe even the spleen of the CIA.
Recall that even Novak found it necessary to check on "her" name in a Who's Who entry on Joe Wilson.
