66-383, 335hp Charger here and a 68-440 Charger with no power steering, brakes, or AC. Was made to go straight and fast.
Aw crap, ole Nancy would not like the 'carbon footprint' those two babies would put down.
Wonder where my Charger would fit on the list. '69 Charger 500 Hemi. Only 392 of that body style built (NASCAR variant fastback), 32 were Hemi's. As far as I know, I'm only original owner left. Just under 20K miles, concours show winner. Only option was HEMI, no radio, no PS, PB, etc, just power. Engine blueprinted & balanced by Ramchargers in '70.MSRP $4,700, I paid $3,950. Insured for 75K, after watching Barrett-Jackson I think I need to up that considerably.
The only belt any of mine had then were for the alternator. Growing up in South Florida, where I had the '65 Belvedere, it didn't even have a heater. About froze driving up to Daytona, LOL.
Ever drive with a wool blanket on?
