United 93 was awesome .. I hope the director gets this award. He deserves it, but I'm not holding my breath in Hollyweird.
Dreamgirls was OK ... Eddie Murphy was outstanding.

Again, STARWISE - very well put - you could be my movie critic. United 93 and Dreamgirls are probably the only two on the whole list, that I've seen--and we agree 100%.
I should ask you before we go to any in the future now. We hardly go anymore though, because they can't shut up and act, and then it ruins the movie, or we end up boycotting it altogether.I used to LOVE going to movies--now I just get to see them on planes. I used to LOVE watching the Oscars--silently dreaming that I would get to go one day. Oh, and I REALLY LOVED watching the fashions. --I'll probably still watch the "pregame show." ;-)

Hi.. I agree re: United 93.
It would be hard for me to vote. I saw all movies for all categories I posted & they are so different. Hard to say one is better than another. I did NOT see, nor will see Gore's flick
