On reflection, I don't think the movies were that much better this year, I just think the Academy did a better job of nominating some of the best ones out there. I was totally turned off last year by the hoopla over Brokeback Mountain.
I am still upset that noone mentioned our troops. They love the movies and many of us have spent mucho bucks purchasing DVDs to send to the troops, who always request movies on their wish list.
