Just curious............when did you stop expecting more from people who hold public office? When did you decide you political leaders shouldn't be held to a higher standard? Did you ever believe in those things?
I just had to ask, as I see a lot of it here, especially, lately. And it is troubling, to me at least.

I certainly expect a higher standard in the present. And the near past. People change and evolve. Males horsing around at a charity event isn't the end of the world for pete's sake.
But to vilify a potential great leader, and vote for someone who can't win, solely on the distant past (not everyone is born into perfection) is bothersome to me.
