"The RNC shouldn't be in my bedroom, or anyone else's.
There are far more urgent matters in the world to take care of. IMHO"

I'm glad you are "humble" about your opinion. So, I can be blunt and not hurt your pride. Your opinion is wrong - dead wrong.

We cannot effectively deal with those "world matters" when our "bedrooms" are polluted with perversion that is government sanctioned. The institution of hetereosexual marraige and the children properly produced and raised thereby, is the bedrock of society. Anything else is chaos and damaging to society. This is not something where compromise is acceptable. You cannot build on an infirm bedrock.

Huh? So who's to decide what that perverting pollution is? You? Jerry Falwell? And once you start, when do you stop? Is the Govt. supposed to dictate who you sleep with, how often, what position, etc?

The institution of hetereosexual marraige and the children properly produced and raised thereby, is the bedrock of society.

Who consenting adults sleep with and changing the definition of marriage are two different subjects.

Anything else is chaos and damaging to society. This is not something where compromise is acceptable.

There's a lot of "chaos" in the heterosexual world at the moment. Shouldn't we pull the log out of our own eyes before plucking the speck out of others'?

You cannot build on an infirm bedrock.

Let he who is without sin cast the first stone...

So you believe the government shouldn't be in my bedroom? Or do you believe the government should be in my bedroom?

I'm confused. If the government should be in my bedroom, maybe I shouldn't own a gun either? Maybe I am not responsible enough to know what is right and wrong. I probably shouldn't have my own money either because I could buy transfat laden french fries and cigarettes. And I shouldn't have a MP3 player because I can walk across the street and get killed.
