They've DECLARED AN EMERGENCY??
They must be expecting a massive snowfall--probably as much as 1/4 inch!!!

Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect... A mixture of rain and snow will continue this afternoon with additional snow amounts of 1 to 3 inches across the Washington DC area...with about an inch additional in the Charlottesville area. The precipitation should taper off after 2 PM. Motorists are urged to use caution if out and about today. The precipitation may end as a brief period of light freezing rain late this afternoon or evening.

I'm so ticked that yet again they got the forecast wrong. It was only suppose to be sleet!
