Rudy To Attend CPAC

I reported a piece last month about how Rudy and McCain were skipping some conservative conferences.  One of the events I mentioned that they had not yet RSVP'd to is the Grandaddy Of Them All -- the Conservative Political Action Conference or CPAC.

Turns out Rudy will attend CPAC.  He'll speak to the confab Friday.

You aren't alone. A lot of us have noticed it and it's not only women who've noticed it either.

If you have Information on Hunter you should post the links to the articles stating the facts in the case.

I have only posted links to articles that would question Rudy's judgment in appointments and business partners.

As suggested by another poster, I suggest you google it yourself. I am not here to slander or negatively discuss anyones candidate, I am here to support mine. This is a Rudy post isnt it?

Does that information sting?

Not at all, Rudybots are tougher that that!

No liberal (or many republicans as well) would have had the !@#$% to kick yasser arafat out and refuse his filthy blood soaked money! He won me over with that one single act, though, as an RR (Real Republican) I will vote for whoever is nominated.

And even those names pale in comparison to the freeper who wished to "flog" us. And the one who thought we should wear an identifying arm band all to eerily reminiscent of Nazi Germany.

Yes, yes, like the Rudy booster who called anti-rudy posters members of the KKK or posted porn to this website.

Or like you, for example, who has continually posted false information about Giuliani, but never bothered to retract it.

That he did and I appreciated that.

Real Republicans don't support a candidate who's stand on abortion and gun control is even more liberal than most Democrats.

I did and the response was some non-sequitur rhetorical.

You call a request for substantiated facts in support of an allegation "non-sequiteur rhetorical"?

Apparently you still have a lot to learn.

I'll have to compile a list, but we can start with your post from a couple days ago which stated that Giuliani's performance as mayor was called "the greatest achievement of the 20th century".

Oh, you might want to include the post made just a few posts down from that where I corrected myself and said that Rudy's fiscal conservatism has been called:

1) The greatest fiscal achievement of the 20th century; and

2) The greatest urban achievement of the 20th century.

But hey, don't let the facts get in the way of a good story. You never have before.

Hunter had ties/past association with Abramoff FYI. Do you suppose the media will ignore something of that caliber?

So did large swaths of the GOP.

Rudy has better things to do than grab cannons and knows that the abortion problem will never go away and is totally unsolveable with any law.

Oh, the Alan Keyes supporter shows up. The only thing missing is your cry for help because there are freepers on this thread who actually support a Republican you don't like.

But the day is still young and there's plenty of time for you to call your mommy for help.

I believe I heard you declare earlier that Presidents have little effect on the issue of abortion or gun control. That the matter should be left up to the individual states.

Am I correct in recalling this?

>>>>>What will you say if he gets an enthusiastic, excited, positive reception?

You mean like the hysterical, emotional and over the top, blind following Rudy gets from some conservatives around Free Republic? Right.

Since Rudy`s public relations machine hasn't really gone into full propaganda mode yet, I'd say the reasons he would receive a rousing reception at this years CPAC meeting, can be attributed to several factors. The major factor attribution being the MSM. The liberal press is doing their job pushing the candidate that would do the best job of fracturing the GOP`s conservative base.

In addition, the Rockefeller wing of the Republican Party sees an opening. They've waited 30 years for this opportunity and now its here. The moderate-centrist-liberal wing of the GOP is going all out for Rudy and some conservatives have jumped on the bandwagon, forsaking their principles and integrity. Not to mention throwing away their commonsense. How else can anyone explain the effort to downplay Rudy`s liberal record, and the obfuscation of his life long support for liberal issues and liberal causes. After the 2006 election outcome and the failure of the GOP to get the job done, some people just want a winner.

This is the same reaction we witnessed in California back in the 2003 recall election. A.Schwarzy was given a big time benefit of the doubt on his conservative credentials. And California got what they really wanted. A big name recognition, liberal Republican. A pop culture icon excited the masses. Not everyone was fooled.

Its happening ALL over again with Rudy Giuliani. At this point, the campaign for the GOP nomination is more about liberal pop culture politics, then it is about conservative politics. I'm still confident, that as conservatives become more aware of Rudy`s liberalism, they'll back off supporting him. The events of 9/11 can only carry Rudy so far.

Facts are something you're completely unfamiliar with, as it has never been called "the greatest" achievement in any form. Why don't you post the two statements in question?

I know we already worked through your "Rudy was given the Ronald Reagan Medal of Freedom" and "Rudy's book is the only book available in the Reagan library" posts, but if you want me to start digging I'm sure I can come up with some others.

Isn't it amazing that people seem to PROJECT what they themselves are doing onto other people?

What I find amazing is how you can even muster the nerve to claim this about the Hunter supporters when you have been caught time and time again making stuff up about Reagan to try and trash his legacy.
