I reported a piece last month about how Rudy and McCain were skipping some conservative conferences. One of the events I mentioned that they had not yet RSVP'd to is the Grandaddy Of Them All -- the Conservative Political Action Conference or CPAC.
Turns out Rudy will attend CPAC. He'll speak to the confab Friday.

Look at the anti-dancing laws your hero pushed in NYC. He is a totalitarian thug who lies. Ask either of his ex-wives.LOL! Are you a dancer? The laws in NYC against Dancers have been in place for 80 years way before Rudy was in office. Oh and as far as his wife was concerned. She had a full fledged career as a journalist and an actress while he was mayor and also was in the Vagina Monologues and now has her own Sex Talk Show on the Radio now. Hardly held down by Rudy.

If he's not going to denounce the other issues, then there's no proof that he'll be conservative on fiscal matters...No. Rudy has a very good conservative record on fiscal matters.
BTW, when will Duncan Hunter denounce his big spending, liberal voting record?

... By the way, your party uber alles position is not a defensible one in a conservative forum. Just so you know.Especially with fifth columnist dividers like you. Any R vote you can negate is your victory.

Oh yeah, that's going to really get the base to turn out for Rudy. Got any other useful tid-bits like that one?

So now FReepers aren't allowed to change their political positions. Even before one debate has been held, one primary has taken place, and 21 months before the general election.
EEE changed his position and made a decision of personal conscience. He knows the difference between right and wrong. Rudy was wrong. Don't remember him having backed Cong Hunter. So what if he did.
You Rudybots are in store for a rude awakening.

BTW, when will Duncan Hunter denounce his big spending, liberal voting record? I would hardly call advocating funding national defense adequately after eight years of "peace dividend" "liberal."
If you do, we know where you stand.

However, if you do succeed and get Hunter nominated, don't act surprised when the Democrats sweep the election in '08. Maybe, maybe not. What I do know is if Rudy gets the nomination, there will be a so-called conservative third party candidate who will take just enough votes for Hillary to win.
That is the long track record of the Clinton presidential elections.

So you've joined the 15% fringe among the National Republican Party. Your choice. Sorry, if the Republicans want my vote, they need to run a strong center-right candidate who is at least pro-life and pro-2nd Amendment. Rudy is very liberal and I don't see him addressing the size of the government and entitlement programs, which is #2 for me after the WOT. None of the Republican candidates running (yes, including Hunter) are talking about reducing the size and unprecedented power of the federal government, which is a shame.
However, if you do succeed and get Hunter nominated, don't act surprised when the Democrats sweep the election in '08.
I would rather see Hunter win the nomination than Rudy. He's pro-border security and understands the WOT better than Rudy.

Rudy took ancient laws and used them to after they had been a dead letter for decades. dumping a wife the way Rudy did is ugly and he did it twice. He chose them, he dumped them. Bad judgment, at a minimum. Can you say Kerik? That tells you how bad his judgment is. BTW his third wife makes him very suspect vis-a-vis the Catholic community for many reasons. The GOP cannot afford Rudy.

I was talking to dirtboy and he was talking about loyalty to the Republican party. He already talked about Cuomo. Do you think he'll vote for Rudy if Rudy wins the nomination? I don't think so. You guys have no loyalty to the party.
I submit that YOU have no loyalty to the Constitution of the United States, which supercedes any and every political loyalty there is in the book.
If the GOP veers left and leaves the conservative base behind, it will be no different than when Ronald Reagan said of the Democrat Party "I didn't leave them, they left me."
And we will regretfully wave farewell as a once great Party leaves us as it mutates into the 'Democrat-Lite' Party.

What a big dumb strawman fallacy response. Hunter has a record of voting for big spending items above and beyond the justified DOD and Homeland Defense type spending.
He should address that record. You shouldn't give such a lame response.

Hunter's record and other 'items' will eventually come out. If you are in congress that long, you have a real long trail of stuff.

Oh puleeze I went dancing in clubs every weekend when Rudy was mayor. It was safer to go at that time I would never have gone dancing at night when Dinkins was mayor. And I had a ball.

You shouldn't give such a lame response. Unless and until you post sourced facts in support of your allegations, "lameness" is your's to own.
