I was referring to redirecting Dem efforts to wave the white flag. The next President will have to lead and not be led. I meant that Mitt didn't have the proven ability to sway Dems to cooperate. It's harder in DC than on Beacon Hill.
Agreed, and it's going to be a chore for anyone to govern effectively if the congress continues the way it's going.
20 months before the election and I'm reminded again this whole election campaign has become too long. I just cannot fathom more events not happening between now and November 2006 that will affect the election.
