Par35 et al, here's the latest from the Boston Globe, Firth's comment might give some insight as to why Par35 was mentioned and not phantomlord.....at any rate, phantomlord's comment came well before anyone knew where or when the campaign was involved.

This whole thing has really blown up in the face of the accusers.....
The district attorney's report portrays Firth as confused over who wrote the post. "Oh, I don't know how to read these things anyway," she was quoted as telling investigators.
I don't know Phantom Lord personally; he and I have exchanged posts (and perhaps an occaisonal flame) over the years, but I'd be really shocked if he turned out to be a Massachusetts cop.
Oh well, I guess this means I can't dis the Boston Globe; I may have to rely on them if the story ever becomes an issue for me.
If I do have to sue, it will be interesting to see who gets left holding the bag.
