No way, no how Rudy hetts my vote, rather vote for Hillery then him, at least that way I know what I am getting!

And here is why!

Here's the exact quote, in 1996, in an interview by the New York Post's Jack Newfield:

"Most of Clinton's policies are very similar to most of mine."

He has said he wants to appoint judges in the mold of Scalia and Thomas....what more do you want?

Absolutely.

I'll take the devil I know and can control over the devil I know and cannot control.

Wow - so you're going to be able to control rudy, huh? You have a mind control device that can make him abandon lifelong liberal positions?

Absolutely correct. Enough of this whining and realize that the Dems are our enemies. Any one of them. I know Rudy G has warts but they are boulders on Her Highness and BO. Every time I read or hear the purists cry that the Congress is going to ....., I keep reminding them, they sent those Dems there by 'punishing' the Pubs. Punish the Dems. They will get us all killed.

We are 90 weeks from an election and we are all ready getting week by week polling data. Could this get any MORE pathetic?

The polls are being used to promote the inevitability of Giuliani. It's a sheer repetition trick. The objective is to force the most liberal Republican ever to run as the nominee by creating an air of inevitability and shut out more electable conservative candidates.

He has a lifetime record of appointing liberal judges?

You might be thinking of Ronald Reagan....

Host Alan Colmes:
"Now, Roe versus -- now, you are pro-choice. How important is it to you as a pro-choice Republican to have a pro-choice on the court as someone...

Giuliani:"That is not the critical factor. And what's important to me is to have a very intelligent, very honest, very good lawyer on the court. And [John Roberts] fits that category, in the same way Justice Ginsburg fit that category. I mean, she was -- she maybe came at it from a very different political background, very qualified lawyer, very smart person.

All of which is true....I don't think Justice Ginsberg is either unintelligent or dishonest.

"What I mean by strict constructionist, or using the plain language or meaning of the Constitution, is judges should try to interpret the Constitution, not make it up to fit their social preferences," Giuliani said.
