Wrong. Assault rifles are selective-fire. The reaction came from owners of semi-automatic rifles. Big difference.
I notice the author, Blaine Harden, also uses the terms "assault weapon" and "assault-style firearms" in his article.
Obviously, Mr. Harden has been drinking the Brady Campaign Kool-Aid.
The Washington Post one published anti-gun articles or Editorials over 300 days in a row. Don't expect truth from them. They are the "running dog lackys" of the forces of tyranny. The best thing about the Compost is that its circulation is declining like all other urban marxist rags
