Every person who has ever told me that they have a wonderful & fulfilling job freeze when I ask them what's particularly fulfilling about it.
I work in construction. I get s sense of pride in seeing and pointing out to my kids the cool stuff i had a hand in building, but most of my work is a hundred feet below ground, so they kind of have to take my work for it.
Also, my bosses are appreciative of the effort I put into my work. I know I do a good job for them, and get rewarded handsomely for it.
I wouldn't do it if I didn't have to, but seeing as i do, I think I have it about as good as it gets. That's fulfilling.
