Well actually that quote (- experience as a government prosecutor makes him pro government -)came from Jim Rob.

I just believe the way Rudy likes to control the masses, by regulating out freedom (constitutional rights) like strict gun regulations, ordinances banning free speech and free enterprise, and standing on the side of those big developers who actually steal private property points to a guy who has been into too much Big government too long.

That government is best that governs least.

I certainly agree with that, except when it comes to our urban areas. Withdraw goverment from places like New York City, and they become Mogadishu pretty quickly.

I don't know whom I will support for President next year. Gingrich is my favorite, and I don't think he has much chance and I'm not sure he's running.

I'm also not convinced that Giuliani would govern the country the same way he ran NYC. That's either good or bad depending on how you look at it. It's impossible to argue that he didn't save the city by cracking down. It's also possible to argue that those tactics he used are unacceptable on a national basis. I'm not sure he'd disagree with that assessment.

What state and local authorities can do is quite different than what the federal government can do, and that's a good thing.
