It didn't expand it in a bad way though. It was actually an improvement to the stinking McCain-Feingold bill that Hunter voted against. Under the 527 bill the '527' organizations would have had to crawl out from under their rocks and name their donors. The labor unions and special interest groups were screaming against it, so that should tell you all you need to know.

The same was true with McCain-Feingold, that doesn't make it a good law. Anyway, there are a lot of other votes on which Rep. Hunter voted the wrong way. Unfortunately, he's not a fsical conservative.

Duncan Hunter voted against McCain-Feingold and he tried to help improve that bad piece of law by voting for the 527 bill. I think you need to get a new website because that one will only give people more reasons to vote for Hunter.
