There is no such thing as "moderate Islam" because Islam by its very tenets is radical. If you doubt this than I suggest you read the following article based on the word of a Syrian born Islamic scholar.

I did read the article,although I was already aware of these issues.But I still agree with Pipes, an Arab scholar of some repute, that there is a large body of Muslims with whom we can and should make comman cause against radical Islam. I dont really care if a Muslim believes his religeon is the only true one, born again Christians ofter think that too, the point is wether he thinks its ok to blow me up as a token of his faith
