No.
Why not? It sure sounds like the columnist really doesn't like Romney. I expect this from a Frank Rich column in the New York Times, but not in a supposedly objective piece.
As for your second comment, it is remarkable that you used 2,75 words to make a personal attack on me, but only 1 word to contend what I said.

If your not for Ron Paul or Duncan Hunter look to get flamed here Spiff.
It takes a bit more insight to realize that the MSM is hammering Romney #1 beacuse he's too conservative for them unlike Rudy and #2 he is the one they are most worried about.
